Starting the year with a bang!!!

Christmas was fantastic. I had the good fortune of seeing yet another christmas and new year celebration after God pulled me through repeated near death experiences in the space of three weeks. Now I'm so thankful I have learnt not to take good health for granted. We hosted our first new year party and it was just amazing watching the kids make the most of the holiday. There is nothing like the laughter of children to make a party worthwhile!

My blogging adventure!

Phew, I hadn't even chosen a template when I got whisked into the world of blogging. There I was squinting at the various templates when I found myself here! I must have tapped the touch pad on my laptop. Now I'm a blogger even before I could fugure it all out. Thats how it is in the Information Technology Age. You get swept along and if you dont get going you get swept way.

Here is my first post and I chose to share a picture I took a while back. One lovely afternoon just as autum was trailing into winter, I caught this ferry as it slowly cruised through the setting sun I thought it was absolutely beautiful.
